Apartment Rules

We are delighted to host you and hope you enjoy a wonderful, relaxing stay. To ensure a peaceful and pleasant environment for all residents, please take a moment to review the following house rules:

Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-In Time: From 3:00 PM onwards. Early check-in may be possible by prior arrangement with the manager.
• Check-Out Time: By 9:00 AM, unless otherwise arranged with the manager. This allows us sufficient time to prepare the apartment for the next guests.

General House Rules

• No Smoking: Sea’scapes is a non-smoking apartment, and this applies to all communal areas of the complex. We kindly ask that you respect this rule to maintain a clean and fresh environment for everyone.
• No Pets Allowed: For the comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted on the property.
• Parking: Guests may only use the two designated parking bays numbered C1 in the garage. Parking elsewhere or in bays not assigned to C1 is not permitted. Please also ensure that your vehicle does not drip oil or brake fluid on communal property.
• Care for the Property: Please avoid marking, painting, or damaging walls, furniture, or any fixtures in the apartment and communal areas. No nails, screws, or other fittings may be applied to walls or surfaces.
• Waste Disposal: Dispose of waste responsibly in designated bins. Please avoid discarding any items, including cigarette ends, food scraps, or litter, in communal areas.

Laundry

• Laundry may be hung on the indoors on using the drying rack provided.
• No laundry or clothing should be draped over balcony railings or walls.

Noise and Respect for Neighbours

• Please be considerate of noise levels, particularly between 22:00 and 08:00. Keep conversations, music, and activities to a minimum to respect the comfort of other residents.

Security Standards

To help maintain a safe environment, please follow these security measures:

• Vehicle Gates: When entering or exiting, please pause to ensure the gate closes behind you.
• Street Doors: Always make sure these doors are firmly locked upon entry or exit.
• Pool Doors: Kindly ensure that these doors are securely locked after use.

Pool Area Rules

The pool area is a shared, tranquil space. Please observe the following guidelines:

1. Cleanliness: Keep the pool area free from litter. Food and drink are allowed outside the pool area as long as waste is disposed of properly.
2. Supervision: For safety, children must be supervised by an adult at all times in and around the pool.
3. No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in or around the pool area.
4. No Braais in Pool or Communal Areas: Braais (barbecues) are restricted to the designated area at the apartment.
5. Swimming Attire: Only appropriate swimwear is allowed in the pool. Please avoid entering the pool if you have open wounds.
6. No Diving or Jumping: Diving and jumping are prohibited to prevent injuries and ensure safety for all users.
7. Behavioural Standards: Please avoid loud, boisterous, or risky behaviour, including excessive noise, profanity, or stunts. Respect other residents’ need for a quiet, relaxing environment.
8. Hygiene Standards: Please do not spit, spout water, or blow your nose in the pool.
